Meet the family
We’re Wes and Maddison
We live in Jarrell with our own pets and a fenced backyard that sees a lot of use. Between us we’ve spent about twenty years around animals, and since 2023 we’ve been looking after other people’s pets here at home.
It started as something we did on weekends. It turned into something families came back to — again and again, some of them for years now. Enough of them started describing us as their dog’s second family that we decided to make it the whole job.
That’s the thing we actually care about getting right. Not filling every slot, but being the house your pet is happy to walk into.

Why families stay with us
What makes this different from a kennel
A real home, not a facility
Your pet lives in the house with us — on the couch, in the yard, underfoot in the kitchen. There are no runs, no cages and no separate kennel building.
Someone home all day
Our home is staffed, all day, every day. Dogs aren't left alone between scheduled turnouts, and we notice quickly when something's off.
Comfortable with complicated
Senior dogs, anxious dogs, special diets, and medication — oral and injectable. Most sitters won't do injections. We will.
A track record you can check
141+ completed stays for 78 local families, rated 5.0 across 59 reviews, with no last-minute cancellations since 2023.
The rest of the household
Your pet won’t be the only one here
We have our own animals, and they’re a big part of why guests settle in so quickly. Most dogs have made a friend by the second afternoon.
If your pet does better as an only animal, say so when you book — we can plan around it, and we’ll tell you honestly whether a given week works.
- Photo updates on every stay, without you having to ask
- Replies in minutes during the day, not hours
- Your pet's normal routine kept as close to normal as we can
- An honest answer if we're not the right fit for your pet
Come meet us before you book
Bring your pet by, see the house and the yard, and meet our animals. It’s free, there’s no obligation, and it’s the best way to know whether we’re the right fit.
